About WELDE G.m.b.H. Holzhandel The company was founded in 1989 by Mr. Ewald Welde, born in Göritzhain/Sachsen. Along with his family he ran a sawmill in Germany, then worked as importer of sawn timber in Germany and Austria. In 1971 he took over Messrs. Holzzentrum Neulinger - Karl Neulinger, Vienna and lead the firm at the time to being the leading sawn timber warehouse in Vienna. Welde Ges.m.b.H. started regular business operations in 1992. The headquarters are in Vienna, Austria. There are two managing directors: Mr. Valentin Stamenov and Mr. Andreas Ruschitzka. The firm also has representatives in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria, and Germany. Welde Ges.m.b.H. has long lasting contacts with timber exporters from the former communist block countries. The firm executes transit deliveries from and to Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Austria and Germany as well as exports special sawn timber specifications from Austrian sawmills to Germany and Hungary.
